Aug 19th-29th 2017 - (sold out)
This trip is literally a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the Solar System’s greatest show in one of the greatest landscapes in the world. We will be spreading our time evenly between the Grand Tetons National Park and Yellowstone National Park, staying in comfortable accommodation at both locations.
Our first few days will be spent based in the picturesque town of Jackson Hole, which is abundant with photo galleries showcasing amazing images of the local area. With an excellent choice of restaurants, Jackson Hole is situated just a few miles south of the Grand Tetons, giving us easy access to amazing locations.
We will have our own 4-wheel-drive vehicles to get us into the ideal locations for sunrise and sunset shoots. We will be mostly travelling around by road, but will also do some easy hiking during the daytime.
After we have spent the first few days concentrating on capturing the landscapes of the Grand Tetons, we will drive north for a couple of hours into Yellowstone National Park where we will be based for the second half of our trip. Here there are endless opportunities for great photos, which include landscapes, wildlife, waterfalls, and geysers.
If all this isn’t enough for you, then how about the addition of a total solar eclipse? We’ll position ourselves in the direct path of the Moon’s shadow as it passes in front of the Sun, giving us 2.5 minutes of darkness in the middle of the day. If you have ever witnessed a total solar eclipse then you won’t need any further persuasion to join this unique trip. If this is your first time, then get ready for an event which will truly change your life.
